Edinburgh media accreditation is now open

15th July 2005 – Media accreditation for the third annual Edinburgh Interactive Entertainment Festival (EIEF) has today opened.

EIEF will bring the top spokespeople and key players from the interactive entertainment industry together under one roof at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) from 10th – 14th August 2005 in what is the unique industry and consumer event of the year.

The festival features 3 key strands:

Edinburgh Interactive, which sees industry protagonists debating current industry hot topics and giving their future visions for the industry (TRADE ONLY) 11th-12th August https://eief.co.uk/content/conference-programme.htm

Go Play Games, offering over 1,200 sq metres of gaming action with consumer experiences from Sony, Nintendo, Xbox, BT, NVIDIA™, Ubisoft and many others

Game Screenings which gives the industry and consumers alike the chance to see 7 games ‘Premieres’ of highly anticipated titles such as Nintendogs, Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit  and 24: The Game. The Game Screenings programme also features unique presentations on why Scotland is the ‘New Japan’ and experts are on hand to offer tips on how to get into the games industry and much more.
